JSC PLACENTA specialises in advanced genetic testing, including NIPT (non-invasive prenatal tests), newborn screening for genetic diseases, cancer risk assessment testing and other advanced whole genome sequencing-based tests. Our trusted international partners include Veritas Int. (Spain), Illumina (USA), Centogene (Germany), Varelli (Italy), Alab (Poland), Antegenes (Estonia) and others. JSC PLACENTA is also the official representative of the stem cell bank "FamiCord Suisse" in Lithuania and Estonia. "FamiCord Suisse" is a member of the FamiCord Group, the European leader in stem cell banking with more than 20 years of experience in collecting, processing and storage of stem cells from both cord and placental blood and cord and placental tissues. It is worth noting that JSC PLACENTA is the only stem cell bank in Lithuania licensed to collect both cord blood, placental blood and cord and placental tissues, and to provide genetic testing services in parallel. We are a licensed healthcare institution: a human stem cell bank and a provider of genetic testing services (licence No. 3914). JSC PLACENTA has been in business since 2013. Our office and scientific and medical premises are located in Vilnius, at the Centre for Innovative Medicine, which belongs to the Santaros Valley - the largest medical complex in Lithuania.
