925 STERLING SILVER

All of the metal used in our jewelry is pure 925 Sterling Silver.

925 Sterling Silver is 92.5% pure silver and the other 7.5% is comprised of other metals, usually copper. 100% pure silver cannot be used in jewelry because the metal is too soft. By adding copper into the mix it strengthens and makes the metal more durable.

99% of our jewelry does possess a 925 hallmark stamp. The 1% that doesn’t is because the item is too fragile and stamping it would damage the piece. We can assure you that even for the items that do not possess a stamp they are still pure 925 sterling silver.

PLATING

We add an extra layer of silver plating onto the raw silver of some of our products to ensure a high quality shine and finish.

E-coating consists of dipping the jewelry in an organic lacquer while applying an electrical current to it. This makes the lacquer stick to the piece of jewelry and form an invisible thin resin around it. E-coating is completely safe and we apply it to most of our jewelry to prevent the product from tarnishing.

STONES

Cubic zirconia’s (CZ) are synthetic diamonds and to the untrained eye are indistinguishable to real diamonds. They are optically flawless, extremely durable and come in a variety of different colors with the most popular being Crystal, Pink and Amethyst. Cubic Zirconia’s (CZ) are typically set into pieces of jewelry by hand. The most commonly used setting is called prong setting.

Crystals are man-made glass gems traditionally produced using quartz, minerals and sand. In our jewelry we only use crystals from the 2 biggest and most reputable brands, Preciosa and Swarovski. Crystals come in a large variety of different colors, shapes and sizes.
