Varikonta Ltd. company was established in 2000. With its 15 highly qualified employees and annual turnover of 1,5 Mio EUR Varikonta Ltd. is among the top four engineering companies in Lithuania that offer solutions for power generation, transmission and distribution utilities.
The background of the company is composed of only high qualification power system engineers, who had been working as managers in the Lithuania’s largest power supply companies (power stations, power transferring and distributing system) before.
Company designs, installs and tunes-up equipment of transformer substations and distribution points (up to 110 kV voltage), relay protection and automatic (up to 400 kV), measures and tests installed power systems.
To perform successfully, “Varikonta” has certificates of Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania and State Energy Inspection of the Republic of Lithuania and follows the Constructional Rules registered by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania.
The staff members are highly experienced, certificated by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania. As the company was developing successfully, several young and energetic specialists joined the staff in 2006. The staff members regularly advance their qualification in various training sessions, seminars and conferences. In the company’s engineering division work only the highest qualification specialists.
Varikonta Ltd. is cooperating closely with the majority of Lithuanian and foreign electrical equipment producers and suppliers, such as “SIEMENS”, “ABB”, “ELGA”, „SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC“, “ELMONTA”, “EKOBANA”, “ELEKTROSKANDIA”, “SLO” and other reliable partners.
Our major clients are: AB „RYTŲ SKIRSTOMIEJI TINKLAI“ (Eastern Distribution Networks), AB „VST“ (West Distribution Networks), AB „LIETUVOS ENERGIJA“ (Lithuanian Energy), AB “KLAIPĖDOS ENERGIJA”, AB “VILNIAUS ENERGIJA” and others.
Since 2006 “Varikonta” has been representing Latvian company “Arcus elektronika” Ltd. (www.arcel.lv ) in Lithuania, which main activity is to produce microprocessor based hardware for power substations.
