Snaigė is the only refrigerator manufacturer not just in Lithuania, but in the entire Baltic region. Snaigė currently manufactures a variety of high quality refrigerators for household use and glass-door refrigerators, mini-bar refrigerators and wine refrigerators for companies and hotels. It also manufactures freezers and spare parts. In 2004, the company acquired another factory in Kaliningrad (Russia). More than 800 people work in the two Snaigė factories. The company's production capacity is 650,000 refrigerators per year. The company exports up to 97 percent of its products to almost 30 countries around the world. Since 1998, Snaigė's products have been awarded numerous medals and diplomas for the Best Product of the Year in competitions arranged by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists.
Since 2001, Snaigė has invested about LTL 60 million into modernising its manufacturing process. The company has adopted new modern technologies that increase production capacity, meet environmental requirements, improve manufacturing quality and working conditions, reduce production costs and required labour, and save energy. As new products are introduced, existing technologies are improved and new technologies are introduced.
