Asistentinis Taxi – WHO WE ARE?

We are two friends, and we are both wheelchair users. By experiencing the issues of easy and comfortable travel in our daily lives, we have founded “Asistentinis Taksi” that would assist people with any form of disability to have a relaxing and safe journey to access their intended destination. This is what our service is based on.

We all want to have an active life and to travel in comfort within our own schedules. We genuinely believe that “Asistentinis Taksi” will enable older adults and people with mobility issues to access medical and educational institutions, as well as to provide an ability to freely socialize with friends and relatives.

The problems that people with mobility issues usually face is the lack of accessible taxi transport as well as drivers that often lack specific training to assist an individual with special needs. It is also a common situation that a person with mobility issues needs to access the environment that is lacking in universal design.

With our “Asistentinis Taksi” service we guarantee genuine support throughout the entire journey that is based on the needs of every individual.

Our mission is to empower a person with any type of disability to socialize more, to live their lives to the fullest while being able to travel safely and in comfort.

We believe that we can become the largest assisted taxi company in Lithuania, providing our services not only in Vilnius and its surrounding areas, but across the country.

We seek to become a competitive enterprise with excellence of our service that acknowledges the issues people with disability face every day and takes care of their social needs by accessing difficult to access by other forms of transport.
