SC "Grūstė" was registered in 1992 13 of July. Company‘s main activity- wholesale and retail trade in foodstuffs and industrial goods, public catering servises. Company founder and major shareholder- Alfredas Vyniautas. Over time, the company's expanding operations, increasing staff and an annual sales volume.
Over 25 years JSC "Grūstė" has become a modern trade company. At this time in Mažeikiai, Akmenė, Joniškis, Plungė, Šiauliai, Klaipėda and Vilnius counties the company operates 27 shopping centers. The company carries out wholesale trade, serving more than 400 retail points in Lithuania. JSC "GRŪSTĖ" is involved in public procurement tenders and currently works with more than 300 public institutions. Enterprise belonging to the two restaurants, one of them are Chinese cuisine restaurant, who distinguishes by their hospitality, style, also by taste and variety of dishes.

The company currently employs about 640 employees. JSC "Grūstė" is a member of Mažeikiai Association of entrepreneurs who are actively involved in cultural and sports sponsorship programs. In 2005 and in 2008 JSC "Grūstė" was elected the most successful firms in Mažeikiai area.
